I. Overview:

Solid Insulated Ring Main Unit (referred to as "Solid Cabinet Unit") is a core module of 10kV level ring main unit. It seals the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, three position isolation switch/grounding switch, conductor and insulation support into a compact unit using epoxy resin APG process, without SF6, fully solid insulation, and maintenance free.

II. Structural characteristics

--Vacuum arc extinguishing chamber

Vacuum circuit breakers have the ability to interrupt short-circuit currents and are used for overload and short-circuit protection of circuits and electrical equipment. Due to its small contact distance, short arc time, slight burn when the contact breaks the fault current, low required operating energy, and fast action, it also has the advantages of small size, light weight, low maintenance workload, fire and explosion prevention, and low operating noise. It is an ideal circuit breaker to replace oil circuit breakers and SF6 circuit breakers, and is widely used in high-frequency heating and distribution systems in industries such as power, metallurgy, and communication. The vacuum arc extinguishing chamber used in circuit breakers is a key component and the heart of vacuum circuit breakers, which basically determines the main performance of the circuit breaker.

--Solid insulation system

The solid sealed pole formed by APG technology encapsulates the current carrying conductors such as the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber and the upper and lower outlet sockets as a whole. The isolation switch is installed in the cavity of the solid sealed pole, so that solid insulation is the main insulation method for phase to phase insulation. Single phase insulated busbar design to avoid serious faults such as phase to phase and ground faults. Bus expandable design enables unlimited expansion of functional units.
